Traveling internationally is always a challenge, going to strange airports with strange ways of doing things, not knowing where one is going etc makes for interesting times. We made it to Seattle to find our plane to Paris was late due to bad weather in Paris. Tim also found out he had no boarding pass from Paris to Nairobi. So the delay gave Tim time to fix his problem and we left for Paris together. Phew!
Paris was strange due to the late arrival, and the airport was confusing...we spent a lovely 20 minutes taking a tour of the inner workings of Charles De Gaul Airport! So we didn't stop in Paris and ran onto the plane that was already boarding and plopped down in our seats. Then they had to de-ice the plane (it was snowing in Paris) So we were on our way to Africa!
